College of Visual Arts and Design

The College of Visual Arts and Design is considered one of the best and most comprehensive visual arts schools in the nation. Its programs include a nationally ranked graduate fine arts program, a graphic design program ranked first in the Southwest and the state’s only Ph.D. in art education. 

CVAD Dean's Excellence Fund - This endowment provides exigent funds to further the teaching, research and educational programs in the College of Visual Arts and Design.

The Dean Greg Watts Endowed Award for Study Abroad - This award provides support for CVAD students for international educational travel during a long semester, summer session or mini-mester. Its goal is to facilitate participation in a study abroad program and encourage students toward further international study and travel in the future.

CVAD Student Project Award Fund - The CVAD Student Project Award provides funding for competitive grants available to undergraduate and graduate students, full or part-time, which may be used for the purchase of materials, travel costs, conference fees or any expenses directly related to research, extraordinary study opportunities, the exhibition of art works or presentations of scholarly work.
