Student Emergency Funds

Student Emergency funds cover a range of circumstances and services that may warrant assistance from the UNT. These funds allow students experiencing hardships to still be able to pay to get their education.

President's Student Emergency Fund - This fund gives students the critical help they need when they need it most and ensures that UNT students do not have to cease their education due to an unforeseen temporary financial burden.

College of Education Student Emergency Fund - This fund helps support students in financial crisis in the College of Education and aims to keep students in financial crisis enrolled and progressing toward their degrees.

COM Student Wellness Fund - This fund is available to help students address unanticipated medical needs, thereby allowing them to stay in school rather than drop out. This is a crucial aspect of our student retention priorities.

International Student Emergency Fund - This fund helps support International students in financial crisis. The goal of this fund is to keep students in financial crisis enrolled and progressing toward their degrees.

Graduate Student Emergency Fund - This fund helps support graduate students in financial crisis. The goal of this fund is to keep students in financial crisis enrolled and progressing toward their degrees.

Evenson and Nygard Emergency Fund - This fund was established in honor of Alice Cruden Evenson and Herbana Nygard to provide emergency funds for students in the College of Health and Public Service who are experiencing a financial crisis that may prevent them completing their semester and/or degree.
