The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities and public safety, and find solutions to challenges in public administration, nonprofit management, public health and urban development.
HPS students are trained to lead nonprofits, become educators, researchers and professionals who strengthen the communities we serve. HPS alumni are employed as city managers, emergency managers, public safety administrators, urban planners and more.
HPS Scholarship Fund - This scholarship is open to students enrolled full time in the College of Health and Public Service who meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the university and demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance as determined by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
ELEVAR program - This fund supports a four-year postsecondary education program that empowers students with intellectual disabilities (ID) to become self-determined, independent and healthy adults readied for integrated competitive employment.
