Each year the UNT Alumni Association awards deserving students scholarship support through contributions made by generous supporters of UNT. Here is a list of scholarships to contribute to:
Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA): This fund will provide the means to award the first SAA scholarship to program members and support initiatives that facilitate meaningful interactions and mentorship opportunities between alumni and students.
The UNT Ring Program Excellence Endowment Fund: This fund enables the alumni engagement team to purchase class rings for students who do not have the resources to do so, creating more opportunities for students have the to participate in the UNT Ring Ceremony and Eagle Ring Dive traditions.
UNT Alumni Association Board of Directors Annual Scholarship Fund: Awarded to full-time students in any major who are in good standing with the university.
UNT Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship: The UNT Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship Fund was established in honor of all alumni of the university. The purpose of this fund is to provide competitive scholarships for students enrolling full-time in any degree-granting program at the university.
Collin County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship: The Collin County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a graduate from any high school within Collin County.
Denton County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship: The Denton County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a graduate from any high school within Denton County.
Tarrant County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship: The Tarrant County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a graduate from any high school within Tarrant County.
UNT Alumni Association Gulf Coast Endowed Scholarship: The UNT Alumni Association Gulf Coast Endowed Scholarship was established by the North Texas Exes Gulf Coast Chapter to provide scholarships for qualifying UNT students from the Texas Gulf Coast region.
Dallas County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship: The Dallas County Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a graduate from any high school within Dallas County.
David P. Jackson Memorial Endowed Scholarship for Austin: Awarded to graduates of any high school in the counties of Travis, Bastrop, Williamson and Hays.
The Jostens UNT Alumni Scholarship: Preference given to applicants who have a family member that is an alumnus and current member of the UNT Alumni Association.
Jerome M. "Bruzzy" Westheimer, Jr. Endowed Alumni Scholarship: Preference given to graduates of Ardmore High School, Oklahoma natives and other undergraduate students pursuing business degrees.
Lisa and Charlie Smith Scholarship Endowment: Preference given to graduates of Irving High School, Nolan Catholic High School and any high school in Tarrant County.
Westurn Family Scholarship: Preference given to finance/management majors in the Ryan College of Business who are members of a spiritual based student organization.
San Antonio Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship Fund: The San Antonio Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship Fund is awarded to a graduate from any high school within Bexar County, Texas.
Opal Lee Endowed Scholarship: This is the UNT Black Alumni Network's endowed scholarship, named after prolific alumna Opal Lee, and is awarded to first-generation students who are involved with underserved communities.
Dr. Victor Rodriguez ('55) Endowed Scholarship: This is the UNT Latinx Alumni Network's endowed scholarship, named after prolific alumnus Victor Rodriguez, and is awarded to students who are involved with underserved communities.
