College of Education
College of Education Student Ambassador Award Program: Student Ambassadors will represent the College, support recruitment efforts, and strengthen student connections across programs.
Gifts to this fund will:
- Provide scholarships tied directly to participation in the COE Student Ambassador Program
- Reduce financial barriers so students can accept leadership roles without added financial burden
- Support expanded ambassador responsibilities, including peer mentorship, student outreach, and community building
These scholarships will enable highly engaged students to lead, mentor their peers, and enhance student success while strengthening the College of Education community.
College of Education Community Service Internship Support Fund: College of Education students complete required, unpaid internships and clinical placements as part of their academic and certification programs. These include student teaching, clinical mental health counseling internships, and other placements that directly serve schools, families, and communities. While essential to professional preparation, these experiences often create financial hardship that can threaten persistence and timely graduation.
Gifts to this fund will:
- Provide direct financial support for students completing unpaid internships and clinical placements
- Help offset costs related to housing, transportation, and other living expenses during required field experiences
- Ensure students can focus on high-quality service and training without financial barriers
This fund supports students who are actively serving North Texas communities while preparing for careers in education and mental health.
