The College of Education is regionally and nationally recognized for excellence in preparing teachers, administrators, counselors, kinesiology and health promotion specialists, play therapists and other educators. It is one of Texas’ top producers of students taking the state teaching certification exam.

Kristin Farmer Autism Center - The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center conducts evidence-based direct services, research and training to positively impact individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, their families and the community.
College of Education Center for Young Children - The University of North Texas Center for Young Children is an early childhood program within the College of Education. In addition to offering care and education for young children, it also serves as a research center and training site for students in various College of Education programs. This work is done under the supervision of College of Education faculty and certified teachers and specialist and follows strict guidelines and procedures that protect children's rights, privacy and confidentiality.
