G. Brint Ryan College of Business

Thank you for your generous support during past UNT Day of Giving campaigns. With your help, the G. Brint Ryan College of Business has been able to provide scholarships, enhance career-readiness programs and create hands-on learning experiences that help our students soar to new heights. This year, we will continue that momentum by focusing on initiatives directly impacting student success by increasing access to financial support. Every donation ensures that our students can pursue their professional dreams without financial barriers and be equipped with a toolbox that they will use when they transition to the professional world. Your support creates even greater opportunities for the next generation of students and affirms that you, too, Mean Business.

- Dean Marilyn Wiley

Ryan College of Business Dean’s Excellence Fund: The Dean’s Excellence Fund provides immediate, essential support to our students and programs. This fund serves as a vital resource to help us respond to opportunities and challenges as they occur.

Ryan College of Business General Scholarship Fund: This general fund provides financial assistance to outstanding business students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. The fund aims to reduce financial barriers for high-achieving students.

Dr. John S. Baen Memorial Fund in Real Estate: This fund honors the legacy of Dr. John Spencer Baen II, a beloved Ryan College of Business professor and leading figure in the Texas real estate industry, with the establishment of the memorial gift fund in his name. The fund aims to continue Dr. Baen's work and support future students in his honor. The memorial gift fund will ensure that his legacy continues to inspire future generations of students and professionals.

The Jim and Linda McNatt Fund for Students in Crisis: To keep students experiencing a financial emergency enrolled and progressing toward their degrees, the Jim & Linda McNatt Fund for Students in Financial Crisis is awarded when a student needs immediate help. While a student at UNT, Jim witnessed the needs of fellow students that created barriers to obtaining their education. Jim and Linda established this fund to assist students with similar obstacles.

The G.A. “Jack” Robason Endowed Scholarship in Accounting: This fund provides awards to students pursuing a career in the accounting field so they can progress toward their degree without financial constraint. This scholarship is awarded to full-time accounting students in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business in the master’s program. Thanks to a generous donation by UNT alumnus Randy Robason, all gifts made to the Jack Robason scholarship will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $100,000.
