Scholarships

Scholarship Funds stretch across UNT and create opportunities for learning, research and discovery.

President's Student Success Fund - This fund supports the university's greatest needs. From scholarship support to programmatic resources, it allows UNT the flexibility to make an immediate and tangible impact.

The James L. and Peggy A. Poirot Endowed Scholarship - This scholarship was established to provide support for College of Information students at the university.

CVAD Scholarships - This fund is a merit- based scholarship dedicated to helping students pay for college.

HPS Scholarship Fund - This scholarship is open to students enrolled full time in the College of Health and Public Service who meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the university and demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance as determined by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

College of Engineering Scholarship Fund - The College of Engineering Dean’s Scholarship is awarded to the highest-performing students. This scholarship is awarded by the College of Engineering Scholarship Committee and all students enrolled in degrees in the college are eligible.

The Leon M. Liddell Scholarship – This scholarship was established to provide scholarship funds for students of Library and Information Science.

Merchandising and Hospitality Management Scholarship - This fund provides financial support for academically excellent CMHT students. Your gifts help these students take another step toward academic success.

Ryan College of Business General Scholarship Fund - This general fund provides financial assistance to outstanding business students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. The fund aims to reduce financial barriers for high-achieving students.

The G.A. “Jack” Robason Endowed Scholarship in Accounting - This fund provides awards to students pursuing a career in the accounting field so they can progress toward their degree without financial constraint. This scholarship is awarded to full-time accounting students in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business in the Master’s program.

Honors College Scholarships - This fund supports current honors students. By giving to the general scholarship fund, you help UNTs Honors College provide holistic development and achievement for our students.

TAMS General Scholarships - This fund supports current TAMS students. By giving to the general scholarship fund, you help TAMS at UNT provide holistic development and achievement for the high school students in the program.
