Last year's Day of Giving donors directly impacted students and faculty within the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences by empowering us to take significant steps forward in providing students with the resources, opportunities and mentorship they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. Executive Dean's Excellence Fund: This fund provides discretionary resources to students, faculty and staff with impactful and visionary ideas, including championing student success and elevating academic programs, advancing innovative, interdisciplinary research and discovery initiatives and creative works, as well as attracting and retaining elite, world-class faculty.

Humanities Leaders of Tomorrow Fund: This fund supports innovative curriculum and research in the humanities. Your support of programs such as english, history, philosophy and religion, spanish and other world languages will help equip students with the humanistic skills needed to compete in an evolving workplace, contribute solutions to pressing social problems, and live meaningful lives engaged citizens. 

Communication, Media and Performance Excellence Fund: This fund supports the creation of new opportunities for students to engage in programs that will enrich their academic experiences and preparation for the demands of today’s work force. Your support will also enhance research and creative work by faculty and students in computer gaming and design, communication, journalism, media arts, dance and theatre and technical communication. 

Social Sciences Research Excellence Fund: This fund supports multidisciplinary research initiatives and enriching experiences across the social sciences, including anthropology, economics, geography, political science, psychology and sociology. This collaborative research with faculty, students and stakeholders aims to create knowledge that drives meaningful impact in communities and trains students to turn their passion into their careers.
