Scholarship gifts produce a ripple effect, with alumni returning to give back and show appreciation for those who made it possible for them to achieve their goals while they worked on their degrees. This cycle of giving is a necessary and regenerative process that we must all play a part in, and UNT Day of Giving helps us focus and align our college’s goals with those of the university and the outstanding students that we serve here.
- Dean John Quintanilla
Westheimer Science Research Fellows: Donors passionate about giving students an early start in research pursuits as undergraduates may be interested in the Westheimer Science Research Fellowship, a generous award that provides stipends and support for research-enhancing activities for undergraduate students.
College of Science Dean’s Excellence Fund: The Dean's Excellence Fund is used at the dean's discretion to support students on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing scholarship and financial aid. This allows us to maximize the impact of current scholarship awards and support more science and math students in their academic pursuits.
Elm Fork Education Center: The Elm Fork Education Center is the public education branch of UNT's environmental programs. The center engages students of all ages in hands-on field activities and discovery experiences that encourage sound environmental decision-making and responsible environmental stewardship.
